This is an oldie but a goodie. Breathingearth is a fabulous site that offers an interactive map of carbon emissions, birth rates, and death rates in the world. It can be truly frightening to let it run for a while and see how much carbon and people we are adding to the world. Check out the different countries by highlighting them. I was amazed that a county like China only emits about 1/4 as much carbon per person as the United States. In fact the United States and Canada were FAR worse for carbon emissions than any other developed country. Clearly it’s time for us in North America to start getting our act together on reducing our carbon footprint.

This is truly scary! I agree that we need to start doing something about carbon emissions in the west! Thanks for the cool link.
